How often has the game crashed and you lost the save while you were playing with auto-save turned on but didn't open the menu for a while? The game will now always save in accordance with the predetermined save interval, therefore never again. Running the menu is no longer necessary for this. It works in MP as well.
NOTE: The game may clip when saving; this is a common occurrence.
