The International 200 Travelette belonged to the Light Line types of light-duty pickup trucks manufactured by International Harvester between 1969 and 1975. It was a crew-cab pickup; the four-wheel drive setup was discontinued in 1974, and the front suspension was redesigned.
Engine: A 392ci V-8 OHV 4-barrel engine was a popular choice, but a 258 cubic-inch six-cylinder engine was standard. At the time, this 392 cubic inch engine was the most powerful light-truck engine available.
Power and Torque: The 392ci V-8 generated 305 pounds-feet of torque at 2,400-2,800 rpm (297 pounds-feet with single exhaust) and 193 horsepower at 3,600 rpm (179 horsepower with single exhaust).
Transmission: It has a Borg Warner 11 three-speed automatic transmission.
Axle and Tires: It made use of 9.50-16.5, 10-ply tires and a Dana 70 HD rear axle with a 3.73:1 axle ratio.
It was a long vehicle, with dimensions of 237.2 inches (about 20 feet) in length, 78.8 inches in width, and 72.8 inches in height. Its wheelbase measured 166 inches.
GVW and Curb Weight: The standard model's curb weight was 4,849 lbs, while the gross vehicle weight (GVW) was 8,200 lbs.
Features included an 8-foot bed and a roomy crew cabin that could accommodate up to six people. Additional improvements included a 1974 chassis upgrade and a Camper Special package with a rear sway bar. There was air conditioning available.
Value: Depending on its mileage, options, history, and condition, a 1974 International (IHC) 200 Travelette may be worth anywhere from $11,481 to $11,481 for a well-maintained vehicle with average specs.
The Travelette was well-liked by ranchers, contractors, and outdoor enthusiasts because to its reputation for toughness and practical design. It found it difficult to compete with the more well-liked pickup trucks made by General Motors, Ford, and Dodge. Due to the Travelette's bulkier construction and worse fuel efficiency as compared to its competitors, sales fell after the 1973 fuel crisis. Following the 1975 model year, the Travelette's production came to an end.

Agro Tonho, the original moderator, deserves all the credit. Only a few changes were made to this mod by FSMR to better suit our aesthetic. Although we haven't finished editing it yet, we thought we contributed enough to share with other farmers. Since it would be improper and we want to provide the original designer the greatest support possible, we are not taking contributions for this mod. We really hope that everyone enjoys our edit.
