ReverseGear: prevents being pushed back to first while reversing
Every time you shift into reverse, the game's usual behavior of snapping your transmission back to first gear is overridden by the minor Farming Simulator 25 hack known as ReverseGear. You don't have to go through a lot of gears to reach a respectable reverse speed when you have this mod activated since you maintain a logical gear selection.

Why this mod
When you shift into reverse, the FS25 automatically resets (or forces) the gearbox to first gear. On tractors and cars that need a greater reverse speed, the behavior is annoying since it requires you to shift through a lot of gears in order to return to a useful reverse ratio. Reversing is instantaneous and predictable thanks to this patch, which maintains your gear selection rational.
Use
There is no need for any extra controls. When the mod is activated, choosing reverse will no longer push your car into first gear. The transmission will hold onto the previous gear if you use your standard gear controls.
Notes on Compatibility in
Farming Simulator 25 (FS25) is the target game.
Transmission behavior is altered by this patch. Although it should work with the majority of cars, gearbox-specific or other transmission-modifying modifications could not work with it.
Multiplayer: this modification should function in multiplayer, however it will just give the user their old equip back.
