More Practical Animal Care: At Last, Actual Repercussions for Neglect!
As an animal keeper, you scarcely have to worry about anything in the regular edition of Farming Simulator 25 since your animals will always survive regardless of how well (or badly) you care for them. This mod drastically alters that!
From now on, your behavior will directly affect your animals' health. You run the danger of losing animals if there is insufficient feed, water, or straw, or if the feed is not effective. This increases the difficulty and excitement of animal management while also making it more realistic.
Your animal population may drop as a result of these factors:
Age: There is a 10% chance that animals won't be in the barn the next evening after they reach a certain age.
Horses: 60 months and up
Pigs: 40 months and up
Buffalo and cows: from 50 months
Goats and Sheep: from 30 months
Roosters and chickens: from 30 months
(Note: In order to draw attention to the concept, these age limits are purposefully set rather unreasonably.)
Care: The danger may rise to 100% if the feed's overall efficacy is too low or if water or straw are absent.
To manage the risk, you may modify the feed effectiveness threshold in the mod menu. It is set at 90% by default; if it is lower, there is a greater chance of animal loss.
At 6 PM every day, check:
An automated check evaluates the condition of your animals each evening. You'll get a warning notice if issues are found, giving you one last opportunity to take action before it's too late.
Compatible with several players:
Animal welfare never takes a vacation, therefore even if a player isn't playing in multiplayer mode, their barns will still be inspected!
