Description:
adjusts the friction levels of all tires in the game, offering a more realistic driving experience. The default friction level for most tires is set to '1.60,' which has been reduced for better handling.
Features:
Traction now varies based on tire width and type.
Friction for vehicle tires is set to '0.60.'
Friction for towed equipment tires is set to '1.40' to prevent excessive snaking.
This mod only includes modified .xml files for shared tires and does not go into the regular mods folder. It directly replaces the game’s tire data.
Installation Instructions:
Backup your original tire folder located at data/shared/wheels/tires.
Replace the original folder with the modified one provided in this mod.
If you want to revert to default settings, delete the modified folder and rename your backup folder back to 'tires.'
Test this simple adjustment and share your feedback. Note: If you are unsure about making these changes, it is recommended not to try.

For vehicles, the coefficient of friction is 0.60
For trailers it is 1.40 to keep vehicles stable
