With the PlanET modular biogas plant, you can build your plant to suit any need - from a small farm to a large industrial plant. The only limit will be your imagination when it comes to producing electricity, methane and digestate from any type of biomass.

The new closed system allows the plant operation to be independent of other industries, with many control options. The main components are a hopper for loading the biomass and a fermenter for processing it. These two modules are essential for the complete operation of the plant.

The production menu gives full control over the processes, and the hopper must always be set to unload the biomass into the fermenter. The fermenter is the heart of any modular biogas plant, allowing control over biomass processing and distribution. It produces crude methane for further processing and can generate fermentation residues for storage or additional treatment.

Other modules, such as a liquid fermenter and secondary fermenter, provide flexibility and profitability depending on your configuration. Raw methane can be sold directly or purified to generate more revenue. Fermentation residue can be stored in central storage and used as fertilizer or for further processing.

In addition, methane generators and sales modules allow you to turn raw methane into electricity or purified methane for sale or use in other operations. Distribution modules provide electricity and methane to other production facilities or use for refueling/charging.

Tip: Use the “Free Construction” mode (default key B) to set up. Also keep in mind the limit of 60 production facilities. If you need more, use the “More Productions Possible” mod from modelleicher on Modhub. For best results, test the mod on a new save before using it on an existing save.
