This patch adds a new filltype for shredded straw and works with all maps. Straw that has been shredded may be used to make TMR or sold loose.
Standard equipment is used to shred regular straw swaths into shredded straw, which enhances cows' digestion and, therefore, their health.
The straw may be sold, shredded on a trailer, or put straight into the hay storage facility using regular machinery.
Straw that has been shredded might be sold or used to make feed. Only regular straw may be used to generate mixed feed using the feed mixer wagon.
The included placeable TMR mixer is the only way to utilize shredded straw for TMR; normal straw is the only straw that the in-game feed mixer wagon can use.
The kit comes with a modified round baler that uses a hopper to take regular chopped material, but not shredded straw. There is a genuine baler in Germany that has been altered in this fashion and has a hopper for chaff. Bales may be created in a single chopping operation by attaching the adapted forage harvesaters, which are also included in the pack, directly to the baler.
