Has it ever happened that while playing FS25, the equipment gets stuck in the water or overturns? It is very unpleasant to get into such a situation. Fortunately, there is a simpler solution - the function of resetting the technique! This method allows you to get your technique back in working condition by moving it back to the store or starting point.

What do you do if your machinery gets stuck?

A tractor or truck can easily drive off the road and into a river, where it becomes completely unmanageable. The only way to continue working is to reset it.

A reset takes the machine or equipment back to the store. Therefore, you will have to go back to the right place again.

How to reset a vehicle or equipment in FS25

Resetting a vehicle is done through the game menu. This is especially convenient if the equipment is in a hard-to-reach place or requires emergency movement.

 In fact, it is very simple, just go to the game menu, go to the appropriate section and select the desired object on the map, then carry out the reset command and confirm the action. 

This process is described more clearly below.

    1. Open the main menu.

Go to the map menu where your equipment is displayed.

    2. Find the desired object.

The map will show all your vehicles and equipment. Select the object you want to reset.

    3. Press the reset button.

On consoles, this is done by pressing the R3 button (on PlayStation). On PC or other devices, the procedure may be different, but the command is always displayed in the interface.

    4. Confirm the action.

After pressing the reset button, a confirmation message will appear: “Do you really want to reset this object?”. Click “Yes”.

    5. The technician returns to the store.

After confirmation, the technique is automatically moved to the store floor.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to pull the technician out of a difficult position so that it remains in place. If the vehicle is stuck or in a difficult position, the reset function is the only way to get it back in working order. However, this means that the equipment will move to the store floor and you'll have to manually transport it back to the correct location. Keep this in mind when planning your job to avoid unnecessary moves.

What to consider when resetting a technique

The equipment loses its current location. If the object was involved in the process (e.g. loading water from a river), you will have to return to the desired location again.

• Moving toll equipment. 

• If the object being dumped contains cargo or liquid, it may be lost.  Make sure nothing of value is left inside before dumping.

• Limitations of functionality. Resetting is only suitable for correcting problems with inaccessible machinery. If the technique is damaged (in some modes), it will have to be repaired in the workshop.
