Cement Factory in FS25: Production of Bricks, Cement and Roofing Materials
Today we will discuss the production of cements in FS25. In case you wish to establish a cement products production, be it cement bags, bricks or roof panels, you will have to study all the parts of a cement factory. This guide shall provide you with the understanding of all the nuances.
Benefits of a Cement Factory
The cement factory is a production building available for £370,000.
Once installed, it becomes a key asset on your farm. This factory can generate substantial profits if you establish a proper production chain and efficient logistics. But more on that later, for now let's find out what we can get from the cement plant.
The cement factory can produce three types of products:
-
Cement bags: Useful for construction work.
-
Cement bricks: Can either be sold or used for building.
-
Roofing panels: High in demand on the market and for farm structures.
These products are quite lucrative on the market. For example, cement bags sell for around £3,200 per 1,000 liters, while roofing panels can fetch £5,200 if you find the right buyer, such as the Grain Elevator Museum. However, to start production, you’ll need the main raw material—stones. Below, we’ll explore how to obtain them, so stick around.
How to Gather Stones
To kickstart cement production, you’ll need a substantial amount of stones. In Farming Simulator 25, there are two ways to gather this resource.
Collecting Stones from Your Fields
After plowing and mulching, stones appear on the ground and can be collected using specialized equipment—a stone crusher. This process takes time, as stones are generated in limited quantities.
For instance, you can collect only about 100 liters of stones from a single strip of field. This means you’ll need to work on a large area to produce even one batch of cement products. On the bright side, it’s a free method, so the profit from the final product will be higher.
Using a Waste Crusher
A more efficient way involves using a special building—the Debris Crusher.
This facility costs £99,000 but generates stones automatically.
Once installed, the crusher produces an endless stream of stones, which you can collect using a tractor and a bucket. The downside is the upfront investment, but the benefit is that you won’t need to spend time gathering stones manually.
Steps for the Process
After deciding on the mode of sourcing stones, the next step is where the stone is moved to the cement factory. To illustrate, if it’s the Waste Crusher, a straightforward process can be:
-
Load the stones into a bucket using a tractor or a telescopic loader.
-
Take them in a trailer to the cement factory.
-
Take the stones out of the trailer and dump them in the area marked for such purposes.
In case your factory is beside the Debris Crusher, there is no need to convey the stones in a trailer, rather the stones may be offloaded directly with the bucket into the factory.
Producing Cement
When the stones arrive at the factory, proceed with production. The list of available options is visible in the factory management menu.
Cement bags, cement blocks, and roofing panels are all examples of products that are prepared. It will not matter what one decides to produce, the stone consumption remains the same. For every 1,000 liters of stones, a thousand liters will yield a finished product of 125 liters.
It’s important to understand how to manage the finished goods. The game offers three output modes:
-
Storage: Products are packed on pallets and left outside the factory. This is ideal for maximizing profits but requires manual transport.
-
Sale: Goods are sold automatically, though this results in about a 20% loss in profit.
Distribution: Products are sent to other factories for further processing.
Maximizing Profits
If you want to maximize your earnings from cement production, it’s best to choose the storage mode. This allows you to sell the goods manually at the highest price. For instance, roofing panels can sell for £5,200 per 1,000 liters if delivered to the right trading point.
To transport pallets, you’ll need a forklift or a front loader with pallet forks. Load the pallets onto a trailer and deliver them to the sales location. While this method takes more time, it can earn you significantly more than automatic sales.
If you prefer not to deal with manual transportation, simply set the mode to automatic sale. This will save you time, though you’ll earn slightly less for your products.
We hope these tips help you succeed in cement production in Farming Simulator 25. Although the cement factory requires significant initial investments and careful organization, it can quickly become a profitable asset with the right approach. Good luck with your construction projects and may your farm prosper!
