Introduced by Deutz-Fahr in the early 1990s, the Deutz AgroStar series 6.11 to 6.61 is a tractor that falls within the upper mid-to-high class. Strong technology, excellent riding comfort, and the standard Deutz cooling system with air-cooled 6-cylinder engines were its defining features.
The AgroStar 6.11 model had around 100 horsepower, whereas the AgroStar 6.61 model had about 143 horsepower.
With up to 24 forward and 12 backward gears plus the possibility of powershift gears, all tractors in this series had completely synchronized transmissions that greatly improved work productivity.
One unique feature was the cozy "AgroStar cab," which offered a suspended front axle (optional), excellent sound insulation, and an intuitive control arrangement to guarantee a high degree of driving comfort. With its many control valves and large lifting capabilities, the hydraulic system made the tractors suitable for transport, grassland, and arable farming.
Because of its simple but robust technology, the AgroStar models 6.11 to 6.61 are still regarded as dependable classics and are still in demand by farmers and collectors today.
