This mod adds the following features and modifies the animal system:
This only pertains to chickens in the basic game, although animals have both male and female offspring. The quantity of offspring varies by breed.
"Reproduction is not reliant on health; it can be initiated manually or automatically; male animals can initiate reproduction automatically; and it costs a fee per animal (prices vary by breed) for reproduction that is not initiated by male animals."
Depending on the animal's age and the time since its previous birth, reproduction may not succeed.
Cows' feed intake and milk output have been adapted to the lactation curve. After giving birth, cows produce more milk but also eat more grain. Over time, both diminish. If a cow hasn't produced any milk in a long time, it may potentially cease altogether.
Before giving birth, cows remain dry for two months. This indicates that they don't make any milk at this moment.
Animals can survive for more than 60 months.
When animals are not feeling well, their health declines.
When an animal reaches its maximum age, its health deteriorates.
Because of reproduction, stables may accommodate more animals than are designated. Depending on the level of overcrowding, the animals' health declines.
Changelog: +
Changelog 1.0.1.0: Added support for more breeds; fixed a menu bug that made the stables' buttons appear everywhere; fixed a reproduction bug where the male part was unavailable; fixed a reproduction bug where the animal had never had offspring; fixed a reproduction bug where the male part was unavailable; fixed a reproduction bug where the male part was unavailable; fixed a reproduction bug where the animal had never had offspring; fixed a bug with unsupported animals
