This machine is designed for loading fruit packed in containers, transporting them from between the rows of trees, and delivering them to storage and processing facilities for subsequent unloading.
The use of the VUK-3 container carrier eliminates the need for separate loading, unloading, and transport equipment for placing empty containers between the rows and removing filled ones.
In a single trip, the unit places 8-9 empty containers between the rows and removes the same number of filled containers from the orchard.
The VUK-3 container carrier is easy to operate. Unloading the containers is accomplished by tilting the unit’s frame using the tractor’s hydraulic linkage with the rear supports lowered, while the tractor moves slowly in a straight line.
The loading device’s boom places the container onto the unit.
On the return trip, the unit delivers empty containers to the orchard and places them between the rows. Compared to currently used machines, the VUK-3 container carrier increases productivity by a factor of two.
