A rainwater and snow harvesting pit is added to the game by this mod. The hole progressively fills with water during rainy seasons, dependent on the severity of the precipitation. The water in the pit eventually turns into ice during below-freezing temperatures.
A layer of snow also fills the hole when it snows. Conveyor belts and a bucket are used to load and unload snow from the pit. Snow and ice start to slowly melt and turn into water at temperatures above zero.
The ratio of water to snow in the pit is 4 to 1 (4 liters of snow equal 1 liter of water).
Water may be stored in the pit, and AI loads and unloads water at the location indicated by the water marker. Water can be loaded and unloaded from either side of the pit.
It is advised to position the pit on a level surface for proper visibility.
