🌲 GIANTS Editor's Forest Zone Toolkit
The Forest Zone Toolkit is a tool for GIANTS Editor 10.x that allows forest items (trees, stumps, stones, shrubs, and any other forms or groupings) to be quickly and carefully placed within arbitrary zones on the map.
You may use the script to generate zones of any form, debug them graphically, and fill them with objects automatically while accounting for size, distance, and random rotation. 🔧 Key characteristics
Forest zones may be created using an empty polygon (by manually placing points) and a chosen spline. ForestZones _prototypes — prototypes folder instances – produced objects ✅ Automatic structure construction Each group is completely cloned, and only first level items from _prototypes nesting are placed. Connecting all items to the landscape ✅ Random rotation and scale ✅ Density restriction (minimum distance) ✅ Debug-rendering zones directly in the editor ✅ Everything can be removed and put back together
