Compatibility with CSC HUD — Slim Bars gives your computers a touch of vintage charm with a discrete simulation and a clear, conflict-safe overlay:
Alternator and Battery: The battery is gradually depleted by efforts at starting and sitting with the engine off. The alternator starts when the engine starts and gradually restores the charge (it does so more quickly after a few minutes of operation).
Model of Heat: Engine temperature employs a seamless simulation that cools to ambient at idle and increases with prolonged RPM and load. If you push too hard, an OVERHEAT warning will appear, telling you to slow down.
Power: Monitors the engine's current load, allowing you to see it rise under operation and then fall to idle.
Coal: Rises with age, wear, and running hours; worn-out, older tractors "roll more coal," particularly when there is a strong draft.
Clean HUD: No basegame files are changed, and bracket bars with percentages are compact.
Safe from conflict: It works nicely with other gameplay modifications and custom tractors since it is read-only and doesn't patch vehicles or scripts.
Friendly to savegames: is always free to be added or withdrawn.
Controls
Toggle the display from Off to Vehicle-Only. Always
Ctrl +. on the left — Go to the next corner
Left Ctrl + R — Reset mode (Vehicle-Only) and location (bottom-left)
Advice
Before beginning extensive fieldwork, let engines warm up. Hard pulls will cause the temperature to rise over a minute or two.
If the bars vanish, use Left Ctrl + R.
Machines may display varied values by design since every vehicle monitors its own battery and temperature.
Conditions and Compatibility
compatible with both modified cars and the original game.
HUD made entirely of script; no XML changes to the map or vehicle are needed.
Old school modding is credited.
