Custom Farming Simulator Rust Shader
This modified shader adds a realistic rust appearance in lieu of Farming Simulator's normal paint wear and damage effects. Over time, rust patches appear on equipment and automobiles in place of the usual scratches or faded paint, mimicking the aging process of metal surfaces subjected to demanding operating conditions.
As the machinery ages or receives less maintenance, the shader dynamically adjusts to the wear level of each machine, making the rust look more severe and extensive. By giving a rough, worn appearance that more accurately captures the hardy life of agricultural equipment, it improves immersion.
